We’ve been fortunate to receive around 60mm (just over 2 inches) of rain so far this month—an encouraging start, though a bit more would certainly be welcome!

We’re excited to announce that the main planting day for our grassy woodland is scheduled for Saturday 5th July, from 12pm to 3pm. Plans are coming together well, with just a few final details to lock in.

We'll kick things off with a sausage sizzle at 12pm, before rolling up our sleeves and getting trees in the ground. Volunteers are warmly invited to join us—your help will make a big difference! To assist with planning and catering, please let us know if you’re coming by the end of the day, Thursday 3rd July.

Everyone is welcome, weather permitting. If you have limited mobility, please get in touch beforehand so we can provide more accurate information and ensure accessibility on the day. You can reach us via the Contact Us page.

In other great news, the wetland and drainage swale earthworks are now complete, and the maintenance area car park is finished too—offering a safe and convenient place to park. Check out the photos below to see the progress!
