Mark’s Country Place (MCP) is a developing charity garden and inclusive community space in Kyneton, Victoria, dedicated to supporting people with disabilities and the broader community. Our mission is to promote mental, physical, and social wellbeing through nature-based experiences and inclusive programming.

MCP addresses a critical gap in outdoor facilities for people with special needs by offering a safe, accessible environment where individuals of all abilities can connect with nature, build skills, and participate in community events. Our garden fosters a sense of belonging, confidence, and purpose, particularly for those who are often marginalised.

Community involvement is central to our success. Volunteers help shape both the physical space and its culture, promoting collaboration and shared ownership.

Looking ahead, we plan to build a dedicated activities building to host inclusive programs such as music and art therapy, social gatherings, and wellness workshops. These initiatives will encourage connection, creativity, and personal growth.

With limited inclusive spaces in the region, MCP offers a unique, sustainable model that blends accessible infrastructure, therapeutic landscapes, and community-driven engagement—helping individuals of all abilities thrive together.
