Gradual Progress

If you have been thinking that it is a while since we posted anything on this blog, you'd be right. We are still waiting on the Planning Department process for a use permit so we can begin actual work on the site. However, we know that this process will take some time and we just need to exercise patience.

Despite that, and Covid, we have been taking care of other less visible but important parts of the project. We have consulted with a graphic designer regarding a logo for Mark's Country Place and a website design. A couple of weeks ago, we had a positive meeting with staff at Windarring (see windarring.org.au). They are interested in the possibility of running some collaborative projects with us in the future.

With recent rain, the small pond in the middle of the property has filled up. We plan to make this area and the small seasonal creek (a grandiose term for a muddy ditch) into a wetland.
