Music for Mark's Country Place - Recap

  • Mar 23
  • 1 min read

What a memorable and uplifting day it was for Mark’s Country Place, as music, community, and shared purpose came together in a truly special way.

The Music for Mark’s Country Place concert brought a wonderful atmosphere to Kyneton, drawing together supporters, performers, and members of the wider community for an afternoon of exceptional music. The program showcased a delightful selection of classical repertoire, creating a rich and inspiring experience for all who attended. Enjoy the highlight video below.

Beyond the music itself, the event provided an important opportunity to share the vision of Mark’s Country Place. Many attendees were introduced to the project for the first time, learning about the development of an inclusive, all-access garden designed to support people with disabilities, their families and carers, and the broader community.

While fundraising is always a key goal of events like these, the concert’s success was equally reflected in the connections made and the awareness raised. Conversations sparked on the day, new supporters engaged with the project, and a stronger sense of community grew around the vision for the garden.

Events such as this are only possible through the generosity and commitment of many. Sincere thanks go to the talented musicians, organisers, volunteers, and everyone who attended and supported the day. Your contributions—whether through performance, planning, or presence—help bring Mark’s Country Place closer to becoming a reality.

As we reflect on the day, we look forward to building on this momentum, continuing to share the story, and welcoming even more people into the journey.
