Permit Application

Last week, on 16th June, we submitted an application for a Use Permit to the Macedon Ranges Shire Council Planning Department. This is the first of several permit applications we expect to make as the project progresses.

As the parcel of land is currently zoned for farming use, by submitting a Use Permit we are asking the Planning Dept. to confirm that our proposed use of the land, i.e gardening, conforms to farming zone regulations. We have been advised that the application may take up to 6 months to be approved.

Below you will see the concept plan which was included with the permit application. Note: this is merely a concept plan and not necessarily how how the finished garden will look.

Watch this blog to follow some of the preliminary work we hope to carry out while awaiting the permit approval.

Hi Stuart and Sue, Have you thought of a liberty swing? Designed specifically for wheelchair only use.

We are planning to install adaptive and wheelchair suitable playground equipment as well as standard playground equipment in the play area. However, the creation of the playground will not take place until Phase 2 of the project.
