The Students Present

As you will know from an earlier blog (29th August), we had a group of students from the Melbourne School of Design at Melbourne University visit Mark’s Country Place.  They were studying place making as part of an elective subject.

Last week we had the pleasure of attending, in person, the student presentations at Melbourne University.  There were 6 small groups of students doing their presentations case study assignments in front of their lecturers and other students, both live and online.

The students had done an excellent job in capturing the essence of MCP and demonstrating a good understanding of the purpose and need behind the creation of the total garden space.  Their presentations included a lot of research and insightful ideas, a number of which we hope to incorporate into the garden as we continue to develop the space.

Congratulations and well done to you all.
