Winter Planting Update

  • 1 min read

There has been more rain since our last post, with 159mm (6.26in) recorded since 1st August, and further rain forecast over the coming week.

Our plan is to hold a planting day on Saturday 5th September, when we will plant as much as is practical. Although the ground will be quite wet, there are some higher areas that are likely to be suitable for planting.

Following Monday's rain, the wetland area was awash with water, as you can see in the photo below. It is a wonderful reminder of how the landscape is responding to all this rain!

If you are able to lend a hand on Saturday 5th, please drop us a line. We would live to have you join us.
